Shipping Your Trophies​

For your convenience, we will prepare laminated shipping tags so that you can attach them to your hides and skulls for shipment to Backwoods Taxidermy. These tags will help keep your trophies properly identified for where you're hunting and help us identify the trophies when we check them in.

Trophies within the U.S.:

​

1. Be sure the items being shipped to us are properly preserved. (contact us for instruction)

2. Wrap salted hides in burlap or cloth. Plastic bags may cause irreparable hair slippage.

Please enclose the following:

➢ Full name

➢ Complete address

➢ Telephone number

➢ Hunting license number

➢ Email address

3. Make sure every package is carefully addressed and that your name and return address appears on the outside of each package.

Trophies from outside the U.S. ( Africa, New Zealand, Canada, etc.)

All shipments originating outside of the U.S. should be sent to the port of New York as follows:

In order to assure that your trophies reach the safety of our studio and prevent any additional storage fees, please e-mail any shipping details to jjmeehan@faunaandflora.com

We suggest that you contact our broker, Fauna and Flora, and John Meehan at their number 1-718-977-7700 as soon as you get back from your hunt to let them know who has your trophies. The will monitor the progress of your shipment and will arrange the transportation of your trophies directly to the tannery.
